The Actor’s School Certificate Program

The Actor’s School believes that continued work on our craft is paramount to staying ready for anything in the ever-changing business of acting.

For actors who prefer a structured goal, our Certificate path leads you to the confidence that comes from studying with multiple instructors across various techniques and specialties, while also fitting flexibly and affordably into your busy life. There is no extra cost beyond the tuition for each individual class.

The Actor’s School Certificate is for your sense of personal accomplishment. It can be included on your resume as a sign that you have invested in your training outside of a collegiate or conservatory setting. Many students have already taken a lot of the required classes! How satisfying would it be to finish your Certificate?

We offer three levels. To pass each level, and move on to the next, at least two electives must be completed in addition to the core classes. All classes must be completed with Satisfactory grades, instructor endorsement, and complete attendance/participation.

The Actor’s School will celebrate actors who complete each level in our emails and social media, and actors will receive a digital version of their certificate. There is no deadline to complete the levels to ensure optimal flexibility.

To confirm level completion, contact hello@theactorsschool.org.

Note: Some classes are not offered every semester. The order of the core classes can vary as needed, but all 12 core classes and 6 of the electives must be completed to receive a Level 3 Certificate. The order in which electives are taken is suggested, but we are glad to work with you and be flexible.

All of our classes are available one-class-at-a time. Even if you’re not interested in earning a certificate, the lists above can serve as a guide as you pursue your continuing actor training journey.

If you have questions about which classes might be helpful for you, or about our Certificate Program, contact hello@theactorsschool.org.
