TAPING AUDITIONS FOR TEENS

led by Brittany Flurry

There has been a rise in “self tape” auditions in the Film and Television industry, and this will become the norm beyond the current health crisis. How does self-taping and submitting auditions work? What steps are needed in this new environment beyond simple audition prep? This course covers the technical how-to’s of self-taping – setting up the audition space, framing, lighting and sound, slating, editing, labeling, and uploading. Students will also learn how to make acting choices and include blocking to create auditions that look good and stand out. While this class is appropriate for all levels, it is suggested that you have had at least a basic acting class before joining. Ages 13-17. Under the age of 13 requires instructor approval.
