TEEN ACTING FOR FILM & STAGE

Led by Brittany Flurry

This class focuses on acting for both the camera and the stage. Students will learn how to develop characters and create relationships explored through improvisation, imagination work, and monologue/scene study. Most scripts used will be from television, film and stage. There will be some videotaping and playback with instructor feedback. Please bring a snack that does not require refrigeration. Ages 11-17. This class may be repeated for ongoing study, and is appropriate for all levels. Students will always receive new scripts.

ADVANCED ACTING FOR TEENS

Led by Brittany Flurry

This class is for teen actors (both film & stage, as well as musical theatre performers) who want to dive deeper into scene study with focus on authenticity in the moment, connection with scene partners, and creating more realistic characters. Students will explore this through text analysis, incorporating techniques from Meisner and exercises from improvisation. Classes will have the option to work auditioning/monologues and classical work. Students will always receive new scripts. Please bring a snack that does not require refrigeration. This class is for students with previous training (instructor approval required) and may be repeated for ongoing study. Ages 13-17.

The students will explore their work through improvisation, imagination work, and monologue/scene study from film and television scripts. There will be some videotaping and playback for feedback. Please bring a snack that does not require refrigeration. Ages 11-17. This class may be repeated for ongoing study, and is appropriate for all levels. Students will always receive new scripts.
