TEEN ACTING FOR FILM & STAGE

This class focuses on acting for both the camera and the stage.  Students will learn how to develop characters and create relationships explored through improvisation, imagination work, and monologue/scene study.  There will be some videotaping and playback with instructor feedback. There will be a virtual showcase of the students’ work the last class for friends and parents. Ages 13-17. Under the age of 13 requires instructor approval. This class may be repeated for ongoing study and is appropriate for all levels. Students will always receive new scripts. 

Class size: 8 students. Online Platform:  Zoom. Materials needed:  internet connection & audio/video capability with computer or tablet.

The students will explore their work through improvisation, imagination work, and monologue/scene study from film and television scripts. There will be some videotaping and playback for critique. Ages 13-17. Under the age of 13 requires instructor approval. This class may be repeated for ongoing study and is appropriate for all levels. Students will always receive new scripts.
