TEEN ACTING FOR FILM

The emphasis of this teen class is acting for film and commercials. Learn how to develop characters and create relationships. The students will explore their work through improvisation, imagination work, and monologue/scene study from film and television scripts. There will be some videotaping and playback for feedback. Please bring a snack that does not require refrigeration. Ages 11-17. This class may be repeated for ongoing study, and is appropriate for all levels. Students will always receive new scripts.

TEEN ON CAMERA INTENSIVE AND THE FILM AUDITION

Led by Brittany Flurry 

This intensive will give actors the opportunity to improve their film acting technique through extended on camera work and learning to make specific choices. Student s will hone their auditioning skills through cold readings, becoming more comfortable with the audition environment, gaining knowledge of “on-set” etiquette, and learning how to successfully incorporate direction. The last class will consist of a mock audition. Please bring a sack lunch that does not require refrigeration. Ages 11-17. This class may be repeated for ongoing study, and is appropriate for all levels. Students will always receive new scripts.

TEEN FILM CAMP

Led by Brittany Flurry and Wesley Riddle

This full-day camp gives students an opportunity to work in front of and behind the camera by creating their own scripts and putting them on the screen! Students will develop acting skills, specifically for the camera, using scripted scenes which they will perform the last day of the camp for friends and family. They will also write their own film scenes, shoot them, be introduced to editing, and view their finished product on the screen the final day of the camp. This camp is great for students new to acting as well as those with previous training or experience. Please bring a sack lunch that does not require refrigeration. Ages 11-17.
